The Convatec Esteem synergy® Durahesive Moldable Convex ostomy system is a modern invention, powered by its Adhesive Coupling Technology. Instead of utilizing plastic rings, the unique patented foam adhesive enables the pouch to attach safely to the clear plastic "Landing Zone" flange on the skin barrier. Better than you think
You really need to get the hang of sticking the pouch onto the barrier. Its a large landing zone but you still have to get it on correctly. The pouch has pulled off the landing zone twice when the pouch was fairly full, my mistake! I did think the ring would be softer and less visable but generally I'm satisfied.
