The Durahesive® formulation is specifically designed to protect skin from liquid output. Unlike other barriers that can deteriorate with exposure to moisture, the Durahesive material gently swells around the stoma in a process called “turtlenecking”, creating a more secure, longer-lasting seal. This makes it an excellent choice for individuals with mostly liquid output. Additionally, Durahesive skin barriers are straightforward to fit, apply, and remove, and are fully waterproof in showering, bathing, and swimming conditions.
