Coloplast Assura Convex Light Multi Chamber Urostomy Pouch features an adhesive barrier permanently affixed to the pouch. For convenience, the entire appliance is removed and replaced all at once. This type of urostomy is offered in either flat or convex barriers with standard or extended wear adhesive. There are two colors to choose from - transparent and white - and the barriers can be either pre-cut or customized for an exact fit.
To optimize protection and security, Assura spiral adhesive consists of a special combination of materials crafted into a spiral shape. This spiral adhesive is further enhanced with an erosion-resistant ring to minimize wear from urine and offer extra skin protection. Additionally, Assura 1-piece urostomy has various other features designed for comfort and discretion. The Assura 1-piece urostomy offers two different convexity levels, which is perfect for stomas that are hard to manage - such as flush, retracted, or situated in a skin fold. This product can give extra security to the stoma, and put the appropriate pressure onto the peristomal skin in order to minimize leakage. The Convex Light option is suited for stomas that are slightly retracted or flush, with a delicate pressure put onto the abdomen. Meanwhile, Convex is for stomas that are severely retracted, as well as for deep skin folds and scars, applying a moderate to high pressure on the abdomen.
