The Brava® Protective Seal by Coloplast has been designed to both protect against leakage and guard the skin, with its newly formulated polymer composition. Its shape can be molded to fit snuggly around the stoma, as it can be placed over the skin even with its irregularities such as dips, creases, and folds. Moreover, when it is time to remove the seal, it will easily be taken off, with minimal residue left behind along with the barrier.
The Brava Protective Seal creates a barrier between the skin and the ostomy barrier/wafer, sealing the gaps between them. Featuring a new polymer formulation that is resilient against aggressive output, the seal won't break down and will remain intact. Not only does the new polymer formula effectively absorb sweat and oils from the skin's surface, but it leaves little residue when it's taken off, making it easier to clean the skin surrounding the stoma. Furthermore, Brava Protective Seal can be molded to accommodate dips, creases, and folds in the skin and will stay put until it's ready to be removed. Upon removal, it easily comes off with minimal effort.
