Silver-Sept Silver Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel is a latex-free, clear hydrogel wound dressing, specifically designed to provide a moist environment for the expeditious healing of wounds. It absorbs minor exudates, does not stain or discolor the surrounding tissue, and shields against harmful bacteria, including those that are antibiotic-resistant, such as MRSA and VRE. It has been verified to be non-irritating, non-cytotoxic, and non-sensitizing and is suitable for the over-the-counter management of lacerations and abrasions. Additionally, Silver-Sept is convenient to apply and may remain in the wound bed for up to three days, while being ideal for the professional care of diabetic foot and leg ulcers, stage I-IV pressure ulcers, grafted and donor sites, first- and second-degree burns, and partial- and full-thickness wounds.
