ConvaTec AQUACEL® Ag Advantage 4x5 Silver Dressing (SKU 422299) is a powerful antimicrobial wound dressing designed for infected or hard-to-heal wounds. Engineered with Hydrofiber® Technology and MORE THAN SILVER™ formulation, this dressing delivers enhanced ionic silver performance for maximum biofilm management and bacterial kill rates.

The AQUACEL Ag Advantage dressing transforms upon contact with wound fluid into a soft, protective gel. This gel maintains a moist wound environment—a critical factor in faster healing—while also minimizing pain and trauma during dressing changes. Unlike traditional dressings, it conforms tightly to the wound bed, eliminating dead space where bacteria can thrive.

Clinically tested to reduce bacteria more rapidly than both AQUACEL® Ag Extra and ACTICOAT™, this dressing provides up to 7 days of sustained antimicrobial action—including protection against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. It captures exudate, binds harmful microbes, and supports skin integrity by reducing the risk of maceration and cross-contamination.
