The range is offered with both flat and convex barriers, plus the closed assortment which offers both cut-to-fit and pre-cut opaque pouch options. These products are designed with security in mind; they contain a protection layer which keeps the skin shielded from stoma output, and a skin care layer that absorbs any extra moisture. SenSura 1-piece drainable also boasts various features that promote comfort and discretion, such as the EasiCloseTMWIDE outlet, which is 1/2" wider than the average drainable outlet, plus the integrated filter that helps control odour and avoids any pouch bulging. The SenSura 1-piece drainable is specifically crafted with a convex light barrier. The barrier is designed in an oval shape to help those with stomas that are hard to manage - including those that are flush, retracted, or nestled in a skin fold. This light barrier and directed pressure gently coax the stoma outward to reduce the risk of leakage.
