Coloplast SenSura Flex Standard Wear Barrier

Coloplast SenSura Flex Standard Wear Barrier is a two-piece system which offers both security and flexibility, as the pouch is attached to the double-layer adhesive barrier with a strong adhesive coupling. This allows for a full range of movement while wearing the appliance, allowing it to be discreet and comfortable. The pouch is also able to be removed from the barrier separately, making changing the pouch easier and more frequent than with one-piece appliances.
The SenSura Flex system comes with both standard wear and extended wear adhesive barriers, which are available in both flat and convex light barriers. Both pre-cut and cut-to-fit barriers can be combined with drainable, closed, or urostomy pouches, which come in both transparent and opaque styles. For convenience, the color-coding system for SenSura Flex barriers and Assura AC pouches have been synchronized. SenSura adhesives have been specifically designed to offer the secure protection necessary to lead an active lifestyle. This includes a protective layer that prevents stoma output from harming the skin and a skin care layer that absorbs excess moisture to keep the skin healthy. SenSura Xpro adhesive is particularly beneficial for people with urostomy, as its enhanced protection helps resist the more aggressive output associated with this condition. Additionally, the SenSura Flex barriers come with a convex light feature, the oval shape of which works to manage stomas that are flush, retracted, or situated in a skin fold by providing light, directed pressure to the peristomal area and reducing the risk of leakage.
