Carefully remove the Filtroodor pouch filter from its packaging. Then place it firmly into the outside upper corner of the ostomy bag. Utilize the enclosed pin to create a hole in the bag through the filter's center, being careful not to penetrate both layers of the appliance. Insert a finger through the stoma hole to separate the inner bag's surfaces beneath the filter's position to prevent this from occurring.
