2023 Abilities Expo Los Angeles with MyCare Supplies

If you are new to the spinal cord injury (SCI) community, it can be a daunting task to find, think up and research all the things you will need to live productively. That's why I recommend… The Abilities Expo! The latest event for 2023 was in Los Angeles - my backyard - and I had the pleasure of attending and working with My Care Supplies.
A Little Recap:
The Abilities Expo is featured annually in eight North American cities. The Expos are free, three-day, all-access passports to the latest products and cutting-edge tech, along with informative workshops and adaptive activities.
My Care Supplies is an independently owned incontinence supplies company - backed by more than 65 years of experience in the field - selling home health products to those who need them. My Care Supplies' comprehensive product category offerings set them apart from the competition: Incontinence, Ostomy, Urological, Nutrition, Wound, Diabetes and more. This means you can expect reliability, variety and expertise from knowledgeable people who care about you and your loved one's comfort and satisfaction. So, naturally, this was a perfect fit for me!
I attended all three days of the Los Angeles Expo with a My Care Supplies team member - Taylor. In addition to showcasing the wide range of products offered on the website, we also handed out free copies of my book, The Rebellious Recovery.
What I appreciate about My Care Supplies is the ease and full access to the products that I need, although not necessarily want, at competitive rates with fast shipping. I can rest at ease knowing that I am not purchasing returned or expired products, which might happen on other platforms. Also, if I run out of what insurance has provided or I am in need to trying something new, I can use My Care Supplies as my back up and tester!

If My Care Supplies was to attend another Expo in person, which one would you like to see us at? And if you were to attend, what products would you like to see in person?
I’m a tactical learner, so if I can put my hands on it or view options in person, I feel like I am making a better selection than after just seeing a photo on a website or reading a product description from a company. As a supporter of My Care Supplies I want to make sure that your process of purchasing medical supplies is easier, faster and less expensive. We would love to attend more events for you to get to know us, feel safe using us as your provider, and build a relationship for a better future. There’s no better way to do that than in person.
